(2017.04.06于北京) I, savior of the gods by Mo Xiaoyu I can’t imagine a world without mankind It must be overly silent and empty— Birds singing empty songs, mountains and waters running empty colors, Blue sky hung vast emptiness All magnificent beings are meaningless-- There is light, nobody bathes in There is April rain drizzling like silkworms eating mulberry leaves but no one listens to No sensational minds Attach emotions to creeks and clouds The earthly world is chaotic and noisy Breeding wars and strife People fight against each other Conferring sorrow and anguish to all things around us In the burning fire, man bestows the meaning of the existence of being To ourselves and to all objects Therefore, other than saying that Buddha saves sentient beings I say that the gods are saved by Me Rather, I consecrate mercy with fire and smoke on earth Save Buddha and cleanse myself with stains of life The earthly smoke is my flesh I love it as I love my spirit Through which, I can seek the meaning of my existence and uncover The beauty of the ruined world Let all gods, be it Buddha, God, or Allah, never run out of Oblation and benefice And I love the earthly fire-smoke Hanging endlessly by a thread … … (April 6, 2017 written in Beijing) 一群猴子,把花果山闹得天翻地覆 唯独缺了孙猴子 (2011.10.23于北京) Crying monkey by Mo Xiaoyu A monkey that does somersault A monkey that grabs your coat for a banana A monkey that gags A monkey that pretends to be affectionate but slaps you hard A monkey that squeaks and swears A monkey occupies a magpie's nest A hungry monkey A crying monkey A monkey pretends to be better-off A monkey that knocks over the Vinegar Bottle A monkey with a face redder than its ass A shameless monkey A horde of monkeys turn Mount Flowers and Fruits upside down The only absentee is the Monkey Sun (Written on October 23, 2011 in Beijing) 作者简介 About the poet: 刘剑文,笔名莫笑愚,湘籍居加州中海岸,诗人,译者,中国通俗文艺研究会诗歌委员会委员。 Jianwen Liu, pen named Mo Xiaoyu, is a poet who writes in Chinese and English. A Hypothesis: The Metaverse Is Just Temporarily Turned Off By Mo Xiaoyu If IF is true You and I live in virtual space as virtual illusions made of a string of codes No sun no flowers no leaves no grasses no oceans No diurnal no four seasons no moon and no temperature changes Climate warming is true and yet false Birth and death are happening and yet never happened Everything obeys only one law -- the law of strings of digits Complex things have long strings of codes and extremely complex passwords These include human nature, human emotions, thoughts, and the process of death Man cannot decode his own life, death and depression can't subvert his own nature You see the layered landscape of history being smeared and rewritten over and over again But there are always bridge sections and undertones that seem familiar Codes and digits preset its logic controlled its occurrence and its ending The ending of man cannot escape the trap of character encoding either I disappear, a string of codes is deleted I wonder, it is a string of characters implanted with uncertainty Metaverse, the game has just begun At the beginning of its creation, the temptations were hesitating One step forward two steps back, or two steps forward one step back When it gathers enough kinetic energy to drive When all earthlings are involved Metaverse Developer, or God of the Metaverse will initiate its birth Just as the Big Bang gave birth to the solar system, the planets of the solar system, the earth and everything on it Metaverse will play all the games played by humans on earth (which is virtual) one time a thousand times ten thousand times The price of land in the metaverse will soar because of limited resources Profits from sales of virtual land ultimately belong to the creator of the Metaverse -- those who own the metaverse codes And the battle of virtual reality in metaverse is human’s battle on our own virtual land Only that human-beings moved the battlefield from the virtual earth to virtual metaverse Turning the death of a person on earth into the death of a person in the metaverse The difference is, when a group of people in the Metaverse die Only one person on Earth would die (in the sense of carbon-based man, the code is erased) When the earth goes out, it is the time when the metaverse disappears Maybe, the metaverse will never be born Because humans on virtual earth can never become gods (Written on April 3, 2023 in Morro Bay, California) Postscript: According to the Wall Street Journal report on March 30, 2023, " The Metaverse Is Quickly Turning Into the Meh-taverse." Large corporations closed projects tied to the digital realm this month. The price for virtual real estate in some online worlds, where users can hang out as avatars, has cratered… Jianwen Liu, pen named Mo Xiaoyu, is a poet who writes in Chinese and English.
